BETA CR 420 1980

BETA CR 420 1980 - FREDDIEFIX19
Other animal to tame this ugly Beta dating back to 1980. It is a fine example of how Italian motorcycle industry was well present in the market for cross bikes of the time.Pity that in the years to come, there was a veritable technological evolution and companies like the Beta were forced to close their doors, not so much for lack of ideas, but especially for the lack of investment due to apparent blindness of the managerial class. This bike gives me a great satisfaction in seeing it completed, given the difficulties I encountered in its restoration, due mainly to poor spread of this reflex model pours in problematic to find spare parts of various kinds. It must be said that probably does not adhere to the original chips, because in those years, the same Beta, tended to mix production lines and various chassis components from different models, while churning out motion.

HUSQVARNA XC 500 1985

HUSQVARNA XC 500 1985 - FREDDIEFIX19
Another essential piece of my collection is this splendid achievement 1985 Scandinavian, I found England. version in my possession is the XC, which was never imported in Italy, was made mainly for the American continent, this version had some differences at the level of the rear hub, reaction tank and anything else. The frame for example, despite being identical to version cross had two handles welded cradle bottom area, in order to protect the motor from stones etc. Although he was in good condition, the former owner had done a restore, I did as the method by which it was prepared to work, so in fact I completely remade! I managed to find all the new plastic kit tank including cue.Another piece from the dashboard resides in exhaust, new well as him.

HONDA CR 500 1989

HONDA CR 500 1989 - FREDDIEFIX19
Here's the early stages of restoration of one of the most radically modified and evolved from MOM. This release changes the frame, exhaust, water pump, cylinder, fork upside down became, the swingarm, mono, saddle, rear subframe, fuel tank etc. On this bike I have kept the chassis so as I was sold, which is in good condition, so I have not considered it necessary to riverniciarlo. The chassis had just been repainted to dust and has been used very little, which featured a few marks and scratches. The bottom of the cradle had been relocated to duty with large reinforcements. It's hard to find frames that has not undergone some crash in the bottom of the cradle, especially if used in freeride.

HONDA CR 500 1990

HONDA CR 500 1990 - FREDDIEFIX19
Another fine specimen that revises the "light" ... this version of "90" is the first with the white frame, in this case after the blasting has been powder coated in white that I identified in the original ral 6003. Even after the engine has been blasting powder in the original color or black.Since this version is one of those that prefer more will donate several striking new components but mostly originals, specifically I'm talking about, side saddle, conveyors and of course usual deep restructuring work, which passes by the General replacement steering bearings and rear motion revision fork with Anodic treatment sheaths and complete overhaul of the enginewith the replacement piston, bearings, seals, gaskets, connecting rod, clutch, candle, led to 90.00 mm bore and air filter. Also the circles have been a nice touch with the treatment of both channels, hubs and spokes, tires are new of course.

HONDA CR 500 1993

HONDA CR 500 1993 - FREDDIEFIX19
With this bike frame party son just repainted by the previous owner. The compartment of the suspension and rear linkages have undergone a review which saw the replacement of roller bearings, replace that has also affected those of steering. The engine underwent a Supreme Auditing with the replacement of the rod with the "zero" of the crankshaft, fondamentele driving in these units as they are subject to vibration sensitive due to the masses into play, also I did bore the cylinder to install a new piston Prox, replaced crankshaft bearings, gaskets, oil seals, clutch discs, clutch springsengine oil, candle, etc etc. Also been revised wheels, the rear I kept good only the hub, the rest has been replaced with new material, then new gommmette and the bike is so complete!

HONDA CR 500 1997

HONDA CR 500 1997 - FREDDIEFIX19
Here's an example in advanced state of restoration, engine completely redone: biella, piston, bearings, oil seals, gaskets, spark plug, boring led to 90.50 clutch. Cycling level I replaced steering bearings, as well as those related to the rear suspension.Plastics are original as regards the front fender and rear panels. We also find a shiny new silenziotore. The conveyors are UFO's with original decals Honda ...!I miss the spring of mono and the front brake pump, plus some more detail.

HONDA CR 500 1999

HONDA CR 500 1999 - FREDDIEFIX19
General retelling of one of the last vintages produced; also this model underwent some changes not vintage if not those graphics. The template in question I placed in a very deep, so you switch from total Makeover: biella, engine bearings, oil seals, gaskets, spark plugs, piston, cylinder 89.50 mm rialesato. The cycling sector also benefited from a good review with the replacement steering bearings, as well as those of the sopsensione area and the rear swingarm. Plastics are new and original, as well as the exhaust and the alternator cover.
